Prenatal Energy Yoga

Based on my experience of childbirth and my deep fascination for this sacred moment, I accompany you individually during your initiation to life.

 

Following my personal experience in Energy Yoga, the teaching in Maternity and Femininity Yoga of the Yoga School of Evian-Les-Bains in France and the method of Martine Texier, I center the classes of the Prenatal Energy Yoga on:

​

- basic physiological knowledge: anatomy, evolution of the mum's body, development of the baby and childbirth, using specific pelagic material;

- the feeling of the body : morphology and changes in the mother during pregnancy;

- the gentle, relaxing and/or invigorating practice, according to the evolution of the pregnancy and the needs of the mother, but always with the deepest respect for the history of her body and her (new) morphology;

- the feeling of the baby and its energy;

- the new mother-baby dynamic and the preparation for the birth of two new beings: the woman who becomes a mother for the first (or the 2nd, 3rd,...) time and the baby who comes into the world;

- letting go: physical and mental yogic practices to support birth, natural or assisted, in the spirit of welcoming natural forces or situations that are beyond us.

 

In this preparation I gladly include the dad / the co-parent / the person who supports you during your pregnancy, your childbirth and the postnatal period: it is the person...

 

...who is experiencing all these often radical changes very closely,

...who plays a fundamental role in supporting and protecting the new family,

​...who sometimes needs to understand everything that is happening around him/her (the said and the unsaid)

​...who enjoys a touch of  sympathy (in the classical sense of the word, from the Greek  syn = with,  pathos = emotion, sensation) as well as a practice that is either relaxing or deeply energising.  

 

​...all this with practical advice, good addresses and a smile of solidarity!

USEFUL INFORMATION :

​

​

(Semi-)individual sessions: upon request, 60' or 75' or 90' or workshops of 2 - 3 hours.
 

Structure of a session: moment of relaxation, dynamic yoga practice, gentle and respectful of your (new) morphology and the history of your body, meditation.

​

Number of participants: 1 - 4 yogis.

​

Language: according to the yogis EN or FR, DE, IT, NL or in bilingual format.

​

Location: at Le Héron Bleu, Australia Studio on the 2nd floor or Art Deco studio on the ground floor with private garden at Meiser (Rue Louis Socquet 40, 1030 Schaerbeek) or at your home.

​

Material:  the whole yoga material of very high quality (yoga mats, gymnastic balls, cushions, blankets,...) is provided by Le Héron Bleu. You just need to bring a comfortable and warm outfit.

​

Health and safety: min. 8 m2 / yogi, disinfectant gel on site, an open window before and after each class, air purifier and CO2 detector.

​
